"Downtown" is a capture the flag map I made for Unreal Tournament 3. Making this map my main focus was showing that I can craft atmosphere in an environment and make the level look like a place that could really exist. Having lots of experience with terrain in Unreal, I jumped at the idea of making a cityscape level inspired by games I was playing at the time.

CTF - Mystic Meteors
"Mystic Meteors" is a capture the flag map I made for Unreal Tournament 3. Making this level I knew early on that I wanted a level with some verticality to it, as well as, a big level set piece to make it memorable. The level actually features two randomized meteor strikes that will kill anyone in the vicinity.

"Shadows" is an puzzle platforming game that was developed using Unity. The game follows an atonomous NPC through the shadows. Using a flashlight (computer mouse) the player can manipulate the shadows and guide the NPC to safety. I worked on this project as a level designer alongside 18 other students for a period of nine months. The game was rated the "Most Innovative" at the Spring 2011 Indie 3 game show at the Art Institute of Vancouver.
Shadows
The focus of my work when I began was designing a new game mode centered on drag racing using the existing tools and engine available. The game mode was completed within 3 months; after that time I became sole track designer for all race types in the game and my responsibilities continued to grow. My responsibilities included:
- Designing and creating over 40 new races
- Designing and balancing performance parts and power-ups
- Researching competing free-to-play games
- Regular bug testing and reporting
